Facing the sunrise, Valtènesi is made of fresh nights, gentle breezes and sunny mornings. A mild climate that gifts our wines with finesse and elegance.

Our vines are grown across the rolling moraine hills of the Western Lake Garda region, with small flatlands dotted among the gentle slopes. The climate here is mild thanks to the proximity of the lake, a Mediterranean between the Alps which thankfully manages to tame an otherwise harsh climate.

Besides mild winters and cooler summers, this micro-climate makes it possible for Mediterranean plants to grow, meaning that in spring our green hills are strewn with primroses, irises, violets and red lilies. The lake also makes it possible for many farmers of the region to cultivate olives, lemons and capers, as well as grapes.
The cattle and horses grazing in the fields bestow a real rustic quality on the Valtènesi region, as well as some wild animals which have managed to survive the trail of destruction left by mankind thanks to the areas of protected land.
